Reasons NOT to give babies fluoride

After a recent trip to my daughters pediatrician I realized it is common practice to prescribe fluoride drops to infant as young as 6 months old. My doctor was a little shocked that I didn’t feel comfortable giving this to my daughter. I have heard how much of an an effect this can have on developing brains and wanted to look into it. I have been researching this quite a bit and I would NEVER give this to a baby. The only side effect most doctors tell you is flouridosis. But there are so many more. Did you know the Pineal gland in the brain accumulates flouride? That has been proved to start puberty earlier by inhibiting production of melatonin. Not to mention it has been linked to hyperactivty, depression, certain cancers (osteosarcoma) Flouridation in the water has been banned in several countries because of health risks. the thought of giving that to my baby just doesn’t sit well with me. Having stronger teeth just isn’t worth the risk of ingesting something more toxic that lead, and only slightly less toxic that aresnic

I attached sources I found so you can do your own research.

“I am opposed to fluoridation because of the overwhelming evidence that fluoridation is not only potentially harmful but has already caused considerable, well-documented harm.”
Albert Schatz, Ph.D., biochemistry, world-renowned discoverer of streptomycin (Oct., 1999)

“Recent, peer-reviewed toxicity data, when applied to EPA’s standard method for controlling risks from toxic chemicals, require an immediate halt to the use of the nation’s drinking water reservoirs as disposal sites for the toxic waste of the phosphate fertilizer industry.”
