It’s official…

Well, I just became an “educational consultant” for discovery toy. I guess that is their fancy way of saying sale person. I am very excited, to start a home business, but nervous at the same time. I moved to Forks about a year ago and still don’t know a ton of people. So the thought of hitting up the ones I have made friends with is a little nerve racking. I think once I get past the first party or so, it will be fine. i just hate the thought of being that pushy person that people avoid because they don’t want to buy stuff. You know what I mean?

Although A friend of mine has already booked a party with me, and another is willing to do a catolog party so when you count my “grand opening” party, it doesn’t seem so scary. I o like the thought of selling toys. My daughter is 4 months old now, so in the long run cheep toys will come in handy. Plus, I used to be a preschool teacher so I understand a lot about early child dvelopment and the products seem…well…great.

I guess the hard part is just inviting people to my house and asking them to buy stuff the first time.
